okay. so, i actually designed a group page for our youth group, although I don't quite agree with their beliefs.

i see God as more of a...Universal. A One. The Great Source, the Creative, the greatest Artist ever known...which fits with Christianity in a way but also fit's with most other religions, especially duothestic ones, in which the Source, Dryden(sp?) if you're wiccan sort of...splits or gives birth to a male and female half or... whatever. i guess I agree with that too, I just happen to worship the union. the union that isn't male or female, but both...

So. For those of you who don't know, I really want to be a linguist.
Problem: I'm not multilingual exactly, or all /that/ knowledgeable about stuff...

My mom's cousin, we just found out through my grandmother, is the head of 2 linguistics departments at 2 Univeristies. (Insane!) And my mom is going to email her and figure out what kind of information and everything we can get...she said "I'm sure Margie would be more than happy to mentor you."

Okay, yes, that's nice and all but...I don't know any language except English, and while I may know that better than most people, and know bits and pieces of a few other languages, that's it. School language classes aren't good enough for me to learn a language in because they move too slow and I could go much faster, I'd need to take a class outside school, and then keep using the language too...

But I am SO NERVOUS that this woman is going to find out I don't know anything and tell me my dream is hopeless.

Domisticated cats all have solid color eyes. A ring of color around the pupil is a definite, scientifically proven sign that the cat un untamed, wild. That doesn't mean the cat isn't nice, it just means that the cat is wild.
My mother pointed this out to me after noticing, apparently for the first time, that one of my eyes is yellow-ringed and the other is ringed with a rusty orange color. Apparently the feral human is "is the wild child. The barefoot nature loving creature who can exist in the rainforests living very close to nature, the defender of wilderness." (quote from http://www.feralcheryl.com.au/)

"Feral" means wild or existing in a natural state. A feral human is also a name used to describe a child that grew up among animals and thinks they are an animal. I clearly do not think I'm an animal, but this entire thing is interesting. Maybe I'll write a story involving feral eyes or something...
